Secure password management
Import allows you to add passwords to Access Manager that are in a plain text file. Passwords can be imported from an XML document or a CSV (Comma Separated Values) file. Click the 'Browse' button to select the file that contains the passwords that you want to import.
Select the 'Allow Duplicates' checkbox if you would like passwords that already exist with the same title/description to be imported. Access Manager will check to see if passwords with the same title/description already exist.
If the import file is a Comma Separated Values (CSV) file, then the first line of the file must contain the Access Manager heading names for the passwords.
Following are the heading names that Access Manager will search for when importing passwords:
Any other heading names in the import file will be ignored during importing. The import file only needs to contain the headings for the password items that you want to import.
All items need to be enclosed in double quotes, including blank entries. You can download an example csv file here.
